Hello! You don’t know me? That’s understandable, I’m not really anyone! xD

I’m experimenting with liveblogs on a complete whim! I have no idea if I can keep it up, I just want to see if I can do it! No promises! If this does become a thing though, please have patience as I figure out how i’m SUPPOSED to be doing this (again, on a whim.)

I was split between Homestuck and Sailor Moon, just thought HS was more fitting of my wacky mood right now, despite the fact I’ll be missing out on princesses. I may do SM at a later date.

Why those two? Because of Minda and Jetwolf, that’s why!

So what do I know about Homestuck? Just small things I’ve picked up over time.

1. I know some people didn’t like the ending, I don’t remember why.

2. There are trolls. I know they exist.

3. The character above is named [CENSORED].

4. There’s something involving timelines way down the line.

5. Someone dies, some cool guy? Maybe he comes back? I don’t know.

6. I read like 2 pages of this before and gave up. Don’t ask me why.

I think that’s everything but I have no idea if I missed anything.

With that out of the way, let’s get this trainwreck a rollin’!

(Oh yeah, and it’s a 11pm so I may stop to sleep at some point.)

He apparently stores his cake on his dresser. Not my first choice.

So is this guy wearing glasses or is his eyes just square? Interesting design choice there. He has a caterpillar on his shirt. Reminds me of the worm from Super Milk Chan, except without a nose.

SBURB sounds familiar for some reason…

Anyways, time to come up with a name for our little guy…

Oh, crap, I was going to name him “Princess Usagi” to fill that empty hole in my heart. Siiiiighhhh

Remember when I said I only saw two pages? Well, I guess it was just one as I didn’t remember this happening. I must have NOT been feeling it that day.

Now watch me forget this guy’s name.

Apparently we’re on a quest to find cakes in his room. His first reaction is to look for his missing arms, which fails miserably. You know, from this angle, it looks like his arm is replaced with a hammer.

The comic assumes I have mercy for him (Goombella got into college with no arms, so he’ll be fine.) Not sure how the bed is a better place to put a cake over the top of a chest.

I do like there is at least some level of animation going on here. Really kills the possibility for a print compilations, but it does feel truly internet this way.

Okay, that’s a cleverly pulled off punchline. xD

Seeing random book titles reminds me of Harry Potter for some reason…

So I’m guessing this is an MS Paint Adventures kind of thing where the community votes on the direction of the comic or something. I definitely get that vibe from this. Never finished reading MSPA… Though, anyone who was there, this must of been heck of fun to participate in.

Well, if that is how the comic worked when it first started out, interesting to see that the majority picked the most practical item in the chest. Then again, the derailers of the community were probably split between the many MANY joke items.

I probably should have cut this page out, but that hyperlink to Topatoco made me so nostalgic! I used to read Wigu and Overcompensating way back in the day so it was nice to see their parent company still up and running!

Also (and I have to skip SOME pages or we’ll be here forever,) we learned about how the card system works. We’ll be hearing about those damn arms until we use up the smoke bombs, are we? Makes me wonder what they’ll do with them then.

I know I just said I’d be frugal with what I post, but I really did like this moment. Fatherly Aftershaves and Colognes. xD That’s a common dad smell alright!

I hope we see Egg’s father eventually!

I do love the trial and error method the story is having the main character do right now. It’s very much what happens when a game doesn’t give you all the information up front.

That said, this is a fairly counter-intuitive system for storing your inventory, especially considering you aren’t told you’ll practically lose an item if you pick up another. Obviously this is by design of the writers, but it makes me wonder what other BS will be thrown at the player.

Speaking of S… do I really want to click on to the next page?

And I think that’s the perfect note to stop on. Time for some sleep!
